Just a few days ago, I broke the news here at ChineseSmartwatches after spotting a mystery Xiaomi fitness tracker in the IMDA and NCC databases. Based on the model number M2561B1, all signs pointed to the upcoming standard Xiaomi Smart Band 11.

Now, the paper trail has grown. The team over at WearableFans has just spotted the same model number passing through Indonesia’s certification database.

This latest regulatory filing confirms that Xiaomi is moving fast toward a global rollout.

When a new wearable hits multiple international databases in a short window, it means the product is hitting the final stages before release.

Here is how the certification timeline looks right now for the M2561B1:

Source Database Region Status
ChineseSmartwatches IMDA & NCC Singapore / Taiwan Approved
WearableFans SDPPI Indonesia Approved

By tracking the model number across these different agencies, we can see a clear picture. This isn’t a localized test product; Xiaomi is systematically clearing the legal hurdles required to sell the Smart Band 11 across multiple major Asian markets.

What to Expect Next

These types of telecom registries don’t reveal deep hardware specs, so we still have to wait for official confirmation on screen upgrades, battery capacity, or new health tracking metrics.

However, the timing tells us plenty. Brands usually file these certifications a few weeks to a couple of months before hitting retail shelves. With Indonesia now added to Singapore and Taiwan, the official launch window is shrinking rapidly. Stay tuned as more regulatory filings inevitably pop up.
