Premium Design and Display Upgrades

The new lineup comes in two primary build styles depending on the model chosen:
-
Standard Watch 6: Available in lightweight aluminum or stainless steel options.
-
Watch 6 Pro: Crafted from premium titanium or a white ceramic finish.
Both versions feature round LTPO OLED panels shielded by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Outdoor visibility sees a major boost, with the base Watch 6 reaching up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, while the Watch 6 Pro tops out at 3,500 nits.
Smarter Health Tracking with Upgraded X-Tap Sensor

Health monitoring remains a key focal point for the series. Alongside standard continuous heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring, Huawei has integrated an ECG sensor across the board.
The standout hardware upgrade is the side-mounted X-Tap sensor, which now uses 12 reading channels—up from 4 channels on the previous Huawei Watch 5. Placing a finger on the sensor allows the watch to gather 14 distinct health metrics with double the sensitivity of the previous generation.
For outdoor enthusiasts, over 100 sport modes are supported. The Watch 6 Pro also gains an Expedition app, offering full mapping tools and customizable waypoint tracking.
Battery Endurance and Power Modes
Battery life varies depending on the overall case size:
-
42 mm & 43 mm Models: Offer up to 3 days under typical usage, extending to 7 days in power-saving mode.
-
46 mm Models: Deliver between 4.5 days of full usage and up to 11 days in extended battery mode.
