Amazfit Balance

Amazfit has started pushing out a fresh firmware update for its Balance smartwatches. The new version, labeled 3.28.50.1, brings a handful of practical features aimed at swimmers and people who switch between multiple devices.

Smarter Tracking for Swimmers

If you take your smartwatch into the pool, this update adds a dedicated manual rest mode for pool swimming. Once turned on, the watch breaks down your workout more accurately by separating your actual swim time from your rest periods. It also groups your training data by stroke type, making it much easier to review your performance after a session.

Seamless Multi-Device Syncing

Amazfit is making it smoother to use more than one wearable. The new software fuses your daily activity metrics inside the Zepp app and pushes that unified data back to all your connected devices.

Resting heart rate tracking works better across devices now, too. If you pair a new watch, your existing resting heart rate history saved in the Zepp app will sync automatically. The same seamless sharing applies if you swap between multiple devices throughout the week.

Overall Tweaks and Rollout Details

On top of the new features, the update includes under-the-hood fixes to boost overall system stability and solve a few lingering bugs.

As usual, Amazfit is releasing this update in stages. A limited group has already received version 3.28.50.1, while the rest of the rollout will reach more users over the coming days.
