Amazfit is releasing firmware update 6.3.25.3 (version 14.15) for the Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch. The software brings several tools for athletes, improved map navigation, and simpler device controls.
New Features for Athletes and Gear Management

This update brings dedicated support for HYROX athletes. When you wear a connected Helio Strap Pro during a HYROX race or trial, the watch tracks your repetitions, movement frequency, and heart rate trends. Once finished, you can check your station-by-station pace changes and view personalized training advice.
Managing screenless Amazfit accessories is also easier. Once paired, you can control these devices directly through your watch’s Control Center, Shortcut Cards, or apps. This lets you monitor low-battery alerts, trigger “Find Device,” and manage heart rate broadcasting settings. The system can now automatically pair with any Helio Strap Pro linked to your account.
Indoor cyclists can now connect to FTMS-compatible smart trainers and bikes to view real-time power, cadence, speed, and distance on screen. You can also pick between metric or imperial units when calibrating distance. To make connecting external gear easier, a new workout setting prompts the watch to automatically search for compatible peripherals on the exercise preparation screen.
Music management has moved to the Zepp App under Device > Device App Settings > Music, making it simpler to set up songs and playlists.
Smart Navigation and Clearer Maps
Navigation receives useful directional safeguards. If you travel the wrong way along a saved path, the watch alerts you and lets you switch directions with a single tap. Additionally, sports modes that support both route navigation and workout templates now allow you to use full navigation while following structured routines from your workout library.
The overall map visuals look much clearer. Contour lines and points of interest are easier to read, trails use a distinct color to stand out from roads, and sidewalk detail appears on main streets when zoomed in between 200 meters and 8 meters. When using heading-up mode, the map rotates smoothly according to your direction as you zoom.
Route tracking and downloads have also been improved. The elevation profile display is easier to read, and track workouts show both imperial and metric distances at the same time when imperial units are active. You can select larger areas to download for offline use, and the watch alerts you as soon as a point-to-point route finishes recalculating after you step off course.
Update Availability
This update is rolling out in phases. Some users have already received the update on their watches, while others will see it arrive over the next few days.
