Rumors are swirling about the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 4, and leaks have shed light on what we can expect, from pricing to new features. The smartwatch is expected to launch alongside the Google Pixel 10 series, and while the prices are holding steady, some significant upgrades are on the way.

Consistent Pricing and Bundled Perks

According to recent reports, the pricing for the Pixel Watch 4 will mirror that of its predecessor. The 41mm model will be available for $349 for the WiFi version and $399 for the LTE version. The larger 45mm model will also maintain its price point, costing $399 for WiFi and $449 for LTE. This pricing strategy suggests Google is aiming to keep the new wearable accessible without raising prices in key markets like the U.S. and Europe.

To sweeten the deal, the company is reportedly bundling some attractive perks with the purchase. Buyers of the new smartwatch will receive a six-month subscription to Fitbit Premium and a one-month subscription to YouTube Premium.

A New, Faster Charging System

One of the most notable improvements coming to the Pixel Watch 4 is its redesigned charging system. Moving away from the traditional puck-style charger, the new model is said to use a side-mounted cradle. This new design exposes the charging contacts, enabling a much faster charging experience. Google claims the new system is 25% faster than the previous model, reaching 50% battery in just 15 minutes and 80% in 30 minutes. This is a significant leap from the Pixel Watch 3, which could take an hour or more to fully charge.

Upgraded Internals and Display

While the Pixel Watch 4 is expected to retain the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, it will feature a new co-processor that enhances AI processing, including integration with Google’s Gemini AI. This will likely lead to more responsive and intelligent on-device features.

The display is also getting a major boost. A new AMOLED LTPO panel is expected to deliver a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, making it one of the brightest smartwatch displays on the market and ensuring excellent visibility in direct sunlight. Additionally, a minor bump in battery capacity—to 327mAh for the 41mm model and 459mAh for the 45mm version—could potentially extend battery life to up to two days.

When to Expect the Pixel Watch 4

The leaks also point to a specific launch date. The Google Pixel Watch 4 is anticipated to be unveiled on August 20, 2025. While these details are still based on leaks and rumors, the consistency of the information gives us a solid picture of what to look forward to from Google’s next-generation wearable.
