Amazfit smartwatches get new Health Connect data sync feature

Amazfit is rolling out a significant update for its popular GTR 4 and GTS 4 smartwatches. The new Zepp Flow Version 1.5.3, which requires ZeppOS 3.5, introduces several long-awaited features. Zepp Flow Version 1.5.2 is rolling out to the Balance and Active wearables with a smaller changelog.

A standout addition is the ability to make and receive phone calls directly from your smartwatch using voice commands. This hands-free convenience is a game-changer for staying connected on the go. Moreover, the update synchronizes your smartphone calendar with your watch, ensuring you never miss an important appointment.

For Android users, the update brings enhanced notification management. You can now quickly reply to messages on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram directly from your wrist.

Smaller Update for Balance and Active Models

While the GTR 4 and GTS 4 receive a substantial upgrade, the Balance and Active smartwatches are getting a more modest update in the form of Zepp Flow Version 1.5.2. This update primarily focuses on addressing bug fixes, particularly for Portuguese language users.

Global Rollout Underway

Amazfit is releasing these updates in multiple countries worldwide, supporting a wide range of languages including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean. However, the rollout is currently in its early stages, and it may take some time for the update to reach all users.

To expedite the update process, Amazfit recommends ensuring you have the latest version of the Zepp app installed. You can then check for the firmware update by navigating to Profile -> Device -> Software Update within the app.

As the rollout progresses, we can expect to see more users benefiting from these new features.
