Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 Price Leak: Every Model Gets More Expensive

Getting a new Samsung smartwatch is going to cost you a bit more this year. A new leak from the tech website WinFuture has revealed the upcoming European prices for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 and the premium Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Unfortunately for buyers, every single new model is getting a price bump.

Samsung is expected to officially show off these new wearables at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Higher Prices for the Standard Galaxy Watch 9

If you are looking to buy the regular Galaxy Watch 9, prepare to pay an extra €30 compared to last year’s models. Samsung is raising the base price across the entire standard lineup.

The most affordable option will be the 40-millimeter version with only Bluetooth, which is expected to start at €409. If you want cellular connectivity so you can leave your phone at home, the 40-millimeter LTE model will cost €459. For those who prefer a bigger screen, the 44-millimeter Bluetooth version will be €439, while the top-tier 44-millimeter LTE model tops out at €489.

The Premium Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 Gets a Jump Too

Samsung’s most expensive watch is also getting more expensive. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will reportedly cost €749, which is a €50 increase over the original model. To keep things simple, Samsung will only sell this high-end version with an LTE cellular connection built in.

While the standard Watch 9 looks almost identical to older versions, the Ultra 2 gets a few subtle visual tweaks. The most notable change is a new labeled bezel around the screen, which rumors suggest might actually rotate this time around.

What Are You Paying Extra For?

While nobody likes a price hike, Samsung is adding some internal upgrades to justify the higher cost. The biggest change is under the hood, where all five new watch models will upgrade to a powerful new processor called the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite.

On top of the faster performance, every single watch in the new lineup is expected to come with a significantly larger battery. This means the new watches should easily last longer on a single charge than the models they are replacing.
