It wasn’t even a week ago when I exclusively reported about the FCC and IMDA appearance of the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra (A2441). Then came an announcement from Amazfit itself with a teaser showing a watch that featured a crown – while people around me thought this could be the Ultra, I clearly stated that I didn’t think this would be the case.
However, proof has arrived. After finding out a full retail listing for the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra Titan (W2441GL1N), I can now confirm that all my suspicions were correct – the teaser was merely a diversion tactic.
A Massive 1.5-inch Sapphire Display

The screen is an important element. Here we have a 1.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480 x 480 (323ppi). More importantly, for all those users who like roughing things up, this display has been covered in Sapphire Glass. This makes it more durable for usage in both forest and factory environments.
64GB Storage: A New Standard
This is a significant leap. All other competing devices only have 32GB, whereas the Cheetah 2 Ultra comes with an impressive 64GB of internal storage. This is excellent for storing maps and extensive music collections to ensure you never have to bring your phone along on trail runs.
30-Day Battery & 780mAh Capacity

But the battery power is what makes this watch an “Ultra.” The battery capacity is an insane 780 mAh battery, and the listing claims that it can provide up to 30 days’ worth of working time in normal mode. This is precisely what one needs in a watch used during multiday trips.
Built-in Dual-Tone Flashlight
In what seems like a bold play straight out of the Garmin Fenix playbook, the Cheetah 2 Ultra also boasts a dual-color flashlight integrated into its design. The flashlight offers variable levels of brightness, a “Boost” function, an “SOS” function, and a custom signal light.

Why the Teaser Today WASN’T the Ultra
Just as I thought, the trailer had an aesthetic that would clash with this tough, round beast. The Cheetah 2 Ultra is 47 millimeters of titanium and sapphire construction with an inbuilt flashlight and battery, double the size of other fitness watch batteries.
My Take
With 64GB of storage capacity and a battery that lasts 30 days, Amazfit surely seems determined to close this discussion once and for all regarding which watch offers the best value for endurance athletes. With the addition of a hardware flashlight feature and a 1.5-inch Sapphire display, Amazfit has just created its most robust watch yet.
The fact that we are seeing this information popping up in online stores means that the worldwide release of the watch is imminent. Stay tuned for pricing info!
