Here’s What’s Coming to Amazfit T-Rex 3/3 Pro/Ultra 2 Smartwatches in November

Amazfit has officially released its new software update roadmap for the T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro, and T-Rex Ultra 2 smartwatches. The announcement highlights a set of new features designed to improve trail running, strength training, and device connectivity.

This announcement follows closely after a separate software release. Just two days ago, Amazfit rolled out firmware update 6.5.15.3 for the same smartwatch lineup, delivering initial system improvements to users worldwide.

Key Upgrades Coming in the Next Software Release

The upcoming update brings several practical additions for runners and outdoor athletes. Trail runners will get estimated remaining time for their planned routes alongside an improved slope display to help manage pacing on steep climbs. The update also introduces Live Share support, allowing users to share real-time activity details.

Gym-goers and multisport athletes will also see notable changes. Owners of the T-Rex 3 Pro will be able to reorder exercises mid-workout to adapt to equipment availability. Additionally, the software adds automatic transition tracking for HYROX races, along with multi-device data sync for system settings.

Improved Connection Alerts and Delivery Schedule

To prevent pairing confusion, the system will now display phone and watch notifications when a third-party device—such as a treadmill—fails to connect to an Amazfit screenless band due to connection limit caps.

Since the 6.5.15.3 patch was released just two days ago, the new feature update is expected to begin rolling out in late November. Watch owners can check for the update through the Zepp app as the rollout begins. And this is the feature list summary coming next month, November!

  • Estimated remaining time for trail running routes – Multi-device data sync: system settings
    Improved trail running slope display
  • Live Share support
  • Improved strength workouts: you can now change the exercise order during a workout to better fit your gym session (A3P only)
  • Added phone and Amazfit watch notifications when a third-party device, such as a treadmill, cannot
  • connect to the Amazfit screenless band because the band has reached its connection limit
  • HYROX automatic transition
