The trail to the next major Amazfit launch is heating up. After first spotting the A2441 in FCC submissions, I have been following its journey around various regulators and have been able to determine that it has made its way through the IMDA (Singapore) and SIRIMI (Malaysia) databases.

Whereas the FCC loves to keep its marketing names a mystery through random model numbers, the IMDA database submission has done away with the anonymity and calls the product the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra.

The Multi-Database Sightings

The appearance of this watch together at the FCC, IMDA, and SIRIM marks the final whistle that will herald the worldwide introduction of this product. This is how the paper chase currently stands:

  • IMDA (Singapore): Clearly states the name “Cheetah 2 Ultra.”
  • SIRIMI (Malaysia): States that the A2441 is ready for the Southeast Asian market.
  • FCC (USA): The location where the initial technical application was made on April 8, 2026.

Design Update: The Circular Verdict

Initially, I thought that the designation of “Ultra” could hint at a transition towards the square format because of the need to pack in as much information into it as possible. However, after finding the hardware images, it became clear that the Ultra version of the Cheetah 2 is actually round.

While it keeps the traditional design of the Cheetah series, it seems to have a more aggressive-looking and rugged bezel than the Cheetah 2 Pro.

The Countdown to May 10th

We do not have any information about the specifications, such as battery mAh, sensor, and LTE. But time is running out. According to the filing, the confidentiality release will be held on May 10, 2026.

In a couple of days, the “gag order” will expire, and we will get an insight into the user guide and teardown details. Since the device has already been certified by SIRIMI and IMDA, there is a high chance that Amazfit will announce the product once the confidentiality ends.

More details are coming. I will update my databases on the 10th of May to find out what’s inside this circular beast.
