Honor has just launched its newest wearable, the Honor Watch 6 Plus. The company is trying to win over tech fans by offering a mix of premium features at a price that will not break the bank. This new smartwatch stands out from the crowd for two big reasons: its incredibly bright display and a battery that lasts much longer than most other watches on the market today.
Classic Looks with Strong Materials
At first glance, the Honor Watch 6 Plus looks like a traditional wristwatch. It features a classic round face with a thin border around the glass. On the right side of the watch frame, you will find a physical button and a rotating digital crown to help you navigate through the menus.
Honor built this watch to last. The main body is made from tough stainless steel, and it can survive underwater up to 50 meters (5 ATM water resistance). Depending on which color style you choose, the ring around the screen is made of either lightweight aluminum or stainless steel.
A Screen That Shines in the Sun
One of the biggest problems with smartwatches is reading them outdoors on a sunny day. Honor solves this with a 1.46-inch AMOLED display that can reach a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. This means the screen is powerful enough to stay clear and readable even under direct sunlight.
More Than a Month of Battery Life
The true highlight of the Honor Watch 6 Plus is hidden inside. It packs a huge 1,000 mAh battery, which is much larger than what you find in standard smartwatches.
Because of this giant battery, you will not have to charge the watch every night. Honor claims that if you turn on the power-saving mode, the battery can last up to 35 days on a single charge. Even with normal daily use, it should easily last about 17 days. If you are an outdoor runner and keep the GPS tracking turned on constantly, the watch will still give you 42 hours of continuous use.
Smart Features for Health and Daily Life

The watch is also loaded with useful sensors. It tracks your heart rate and measures your blood oxygen levels (SpO2). While it cannot take an official medical blood pressure reading, Honor says the watch can look at your data to warn you about potential high blood pressure risks.
For fitness lovers, there are 120 different sports modes. It also includes an artificial intelligence (AI) coach to analyze your running and give you training tips. On top of fitness, the watch has a built-in speaker and microphone so you can take phone calls from your wrist when connected to your smartphone. It also features a maps app for navigation and an NFC chip, allowing you to make contactless payments at stores.
Price and Where to Buy
Right now, the Honor Watch 6 Plus is only available in China. The price ranges from 1,199 yuan (around $177 USD) to 1,599 yuan (around $235 USD), depending on the specific case design and the type of watch strap you pick.
Honor has not announced when the watch will launch in other countries yet. However, since the older Honor Watch 5 was sold globally, international tech fans can likely expect to see this new model hit global markets in the near future.
