Amazfit has launched a new accessory for its popular Helio Strap fitness tracker: the Helio Arm Band. This innovative product is designed to be worn on the upper arm instead of the wrist, giving users a new way to track their fitness activities. While currently available only in the US and UK, the arm band is expected to be released in more countries soon.
Enhanced Accuracy and Comfort

The primary benefit of the Helio Arm Band is its potential to deliver more accurate data. Amazfit claims that wearing the tracker on the upper arm positions the BioTracker sensor closer to the heart, which can result in “cleaner, more consistent readings.” This also helps reduce interference caused by common wrist movements during workouts. In addition to improved accuracy, the arm band may also be a more comfortable option for some users, especially during intense exercise.
Design and Availability
The new arm band is crafted from a soft, quick-drying nylon material in a sleek black finish. Measuring 22 mm in width and 410 mm in length, it features an adjustable Velcro strap designed to fit arm circumferences between 250 mm and 420 mm. Switching from the wrist strap to the arm band is simple: users detach the Helio Strap’s sensor from its holder and snap it into place on the arm band with the sensor facing down.
The Helio Arm Band is now available for purchase in the US and UK for $14.99 and £14.90, respectively. While an official release date for other European countries has not been announced, it’s likely to be available in more regions shortly.
