Huawei is set to have a busy September with a number of new products slated for launch, and a second-generation Watch Ultimate could be one of them. The new wearable has recently surfaced on several global certification databases, confirming its existence and hinting at an imminent release.
Certification Confirms Imminent Launch

The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 has been listed on two certification websites: SIRIM from Malaysia and TUV from Germany. These certifications are crucial for any product to be sold in these markets, as they ensure the device meets all local rules and regulations for things like telecom and radio equipment. Without this approval, a brand cannot legally sell its products. The appearance of the Watch Ultimate 2 on these sites strongly suggests that Huawei is preparing for a new product launch in Malaysia and Germany, with a potential release date as early as September 19.
What We Know So Far
While the certifications don’t reveal much about the technical specifications, they do provide a few key details. The SIRIM certificate lists the Watch Ultimate 2 with the model number MCH-AL00, which points to a Malaysian debut. More interestingly, the TUV certificate confirms that the new wearable will have both IP68 and IP69 ratings. This means the device will be highly resistant to both dust and high-pressure water sprays, making it exceptionally durable for a wide range of real-life situations.
Part of a Larger Product Launch
Huawei has officially teased the launch of the Watch GT 6 series for next month, and it’s likely they will unveil more than just smartwatches. We can expect to see new tablets and possibly mid-range smartphones as well. While the company has been silent about the Watch Ultimate 2 and its features, its presence on these global certification sites suggests it will be part of this larger product event. We’ll have to wait for the official announcement to learn more about the watch’s full capabilities and design.
