Huawei has officially begun deploying a fresh firmware refresh for its flagship wearables, the Watch GT 5 and GT 5 Pro. This latest release, identified as build version 6.0.0.23, focuses on refining the internal architecture of the devices to ensure a more fluid user experience.
Enhanced System Reliability
The primary objective of this software update is the optimization of system stability. While the Watch GT 5 series is already known for its robust performance, version 6.0.0.23 targets specific scenarios where the interface might have encountered minor friction. By smoothing out these background processes, Huawei ensures that the HarmonyOS ecosystem remains responsive and reliable during daily use.
Global Deployment Strategy
If you haven’t seen the notification on your wrist yet, there is no need for concern. Huawei is utilizing a phased rollout strategy, meaning the software is being released in waves across different regions. While a segment of the user base has already gained access to the new features, it may take several days for the update to reach all compatible devices globally.
