Huawei is getting ready to expand its wearable lineup. Just two days before its official event on Wednesday, August 5, the tech giant posted the first official teaser images of the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro on Weibo.
While leaked promotional photos gave fans a quick look at the devices last week, this official preview confirms key design details and shows off a fresh new look for the flagship Pro model.
A Familiar Shape with a Fresh Green Look

At first glance, the Watch GT 7 Pro keeps much of the design language from its predecessor, the Watch GT 6 Pro. It features the signature octagonal bezel housing a round AMOLED display, alongside a side button and a rotating digital crown on the right edge.
However, Huawei is introducing a brand-new forest green finish this time around, paired with a redesigned sport strap. The bezel also includes dual markings—one set for standard minute tracking and another for an analog 24-hour clock.
What to Expect for Features and Fitness
In a short preview video, Huawei highlighted a few ways the smartwatch can be used for outdoor activities and daily workouts. The watch was shown running a map app with active GPS navigation during a hike, as well as tracking jump rope exercises.
While Huawei hasn’t shared full technical specifications yet, these clips hint at strong location tracking and multi-sport tracking capabilities.
Expected Sizes and Color Options
According to recent leaks, buyers will have several versions to choose from:
-
Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro: Available in green, silver, and black.
-
Huawei Watch GT 7: Expected in silver, gold, and black.
-
Sizes: The standard GT 7 is likely to come in two case sizes—41mm and 46mm—similar to earlier generations.
Full pricing, detailed hardware specs, and global availability will be officially confirmed during Huawei’s launch event on Wednesday.
