Huawei is rolling out an exciting new feature for its Watch D2, giving users more control over their health tracking. Soon, you’ll be able to schedule specific times for blood pressure measurements, rather than manually initiating them. This update was teased on Huawei’s global X page with the tagline, “Tailor your blood pressure tracking like never before.”
How the Scheduling Feature Works

The new “Schedule Blood Pressure Measurement” function will let users set a specific time of day for the device to automatically monitor their blood pressure. This is a game-changer for those who want to be consistent with their daily health checks but often forget. The process is straightforward: just a few taps on your Watch D2, and the device will handle the rest, leaving you free to focus on other tasks. By automating the process, this feature not only helps you stay on track but also conserves battery life and ensures you don’t miss a daily check-up.
The Evolution of the Huawei Watch D Series
The Watch D series is known for its status as a medical-grade device, pioneering blood pressure monitoring in a wearable. The original Watch D was celebrated for its 2-inch, brick-like design. Last year, the company refined this concept with the Watch D2, which sports a sleeker design and more advanced features. The Watch D2 already includes ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, which allows for continuous 24-hour tracking, even while you sleep. The new scheduling feature takes this a step further, providing a personalized and consistent way to manage your health. This new feature is expected to be unveiled on September 19 at the Watch GT 6 series launch event.
