Amazfit's Zepp App 9.10.x Update Brings New Features to Smartwtches Users

The Zepp app for Amazfit wearables has been updated to version 9.10.x for iOS users, bringing several new features and improvements. This is the third update in 9.10.x series since late July, with the most recent version, 9.10.2, primarily focused on bug fixes. The previous significant update for the app was version 9.9.5, which improved the functionality of the Zepp App Food Log.

Enhanced Nap Tracking and Data Management

A key enhancement in the 9.10.1 update is the improved nap recording function. Users can now easily delete nap records, giving them more control over their sleep data. This feature is compatible with many Amazfit smartwatches and the Helio Strap. This new flexibility allows users to manage their sleep information more effectively within the app.

New Integration with Apple Health and Google Health Connect

Amazfit has also improved its integration with third-party health apps. A company representative announced on Reddit that the Zepp app can now read weight information from Apple Health and Google Health Connect. This new feature reportedly began its rollout with Zepp version 9.10.0, although user confirmations are still pending. This new integration allows for a more comprehensive and centralized view of a user’s health metrics.

Availability and Future Updates

The latest version of the Zepp app, 9.10.2, is currently available for download on the Apple App Store. There is no official word yet on when a similar update will be released for the Android version of the app, which is currently on version 9.9.6.
