Amazfit has officially unveiled the T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch, a new and enhanced version of its rugged wearable. This latest model is hitting the European market with an array of new features designed to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts and serious athletes. The T-Rex 3 Pro will be available in two distinct sizes and several color options, with one variant already on sale through Amazfit’s online store.

Key Upgrades and Features

Building on the foundation of the T-Rex 3, the Pro version introduces several significant improvements. A standout feature is the integrated dual-color flashlight, which can be used for illumination or as an SOS signal in emergencies. The watch now includes both a speaker and a microphone, enabling convenient Bluetooth calling directly from your wrist.

The T-Rex 3 Pro also enhances navigation and training. It supports offline apps and advanced mapping tools, including automatic route planning based on your desired direction and distance. The updated GPS antenna is more precise and connects to six satellite systems for superior location tracking. Additionally, it offers over 180 sports modes, with new activities like Rucking, and includes the new BioCharge Energy metric to help you monitor your recovery after workouts.

Display and Durability

The T-Rex 3 Pro is not just about internal upgrades; it also features a more durable build and a brighter display. The smaller 44 mm model has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, while the larger 48 mm version boasts a 1.50-inch AMOLED screen. Both models feature an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a significant jump from the T-Rex 3’s 2,000 nits.

For enhanced toughness, the smartwatch incorporates a titanium alloy bezel and buttons, with a sapphire glass lens to protect the screen from scratches. The smaller watch packs a 640 mAh battery, offering up to 19 days of battery life with typical usage, while the larger variant’s 700 mAh battery can last up to 25 days on a single charge.

Pricing and Availability

The 48 mm version in Tactical Black is currently available for purchase in Europe for £399.90 / €399.90 through Amazfit’s website and Amazon. Other models are set to follow, with the 48 mm Black/Gold variant expected on September 25th, 2025. The 44 mm versions—in Gold/Grey and Black/Gold—will be released after that. All models will be priced at the same point. Details regarding a US release have not been announced yet.
