Leaked information about a brand-new Amazfit wearable has suddenly surfaced, giving us an early look at what’s coming next from the company. The technical specifications, initial promotional images, and crucial European launch pricing for this device—tentatively named the Amazfit Active Max—have all been revealed. These leaks strongly suggest that the official unveiling of this highly anticipated new smartwatch is just around the corner.
Active Max Display and Design Upgrades

Sourced likely from pre-launch retail listings, tech reporter Roland Quandt indicates that the Active Max will feature a larger, more vibrant display than its predecessor. The new model reportedly features a 1.5-inch OLED panel, a significant increase from the 1.32-inch screen on the Active 2. This display is also said to boast a high resolution of 480 x 480 pixels. Based on the leaked promotional images Quandt shared, the screen appears to be framed by notably thin bezels, which are cleverly concealed by what looks like faux chapter rings around the edge.
Battery Life and Key Specifications
Further reports reveal compelling details about the device’s durability and longevity. The Active Max is noted as being waterproof up to 50 meters and contains a substantial 576 mAh battery. To put this in perspective, the Active 2’s 270 mAh battery already delivers over a week of typical use. Given this increase, it is reasonable to expect the Active Max to achieve a battery life pushing close to the two-week mark once it is available.
The smartwatch is also expected to offer modern connectivity options, including support for Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC. Users will also have access to 4 GB of integrated storage for music or apps.
Expected Pricing and Availability
Regarding cost, Quandt specifies that Amazfit intends to sell the Active Max in the Eurozone for €169.90. If Amazfit maintains its usual regional pricing consistency—similar to the strategy used for the Active 2—consumers in the United States should anticipate a retail price hovering around $169.99.
