If you follow my blog regularly, you already know my daily routine. Every morning, I spend time digging through international regulatory databases, searching for any clues about unreleased wearables. Today, that routine check paid off in a big way.

I have just spotted a brand-new Xiaomi Smart Band model passing through two major certification platforms: the TDRA (UAE) and the NCC (Taiwan). The device carries the model number M2617B1. Given Xiaomi’s usual numbering system, this is almost certainly the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 11 NFC.

Connecting the Dots

If you remember my recent posts, I previously discovered another variant under model number M2558B1 passing through the IMDA and NCC. That version looks to be the standard Smart Band 11 base model.

Finding the M2617B1 today confirms that Xiaomi is moving forward with its NFC-enabled version for global markets alongside the standard model. The fact that it has hit the UAE’s TDRA database means a global launch is definitely on the horizon.

What the TDRA & NCC Documents Reveal

Thanks to the official TDRA certificate details shown in the picture above, we can see the exact registration data. The regulatory paperwork was finalized and released just yesterday, on July 8, 2026.

Here is the data from the TDRA certificate:

  • Marketing Name: Smart Band

  • Model Name: M2617B1

  • Equipment Registration Number: ER61648/26

  • Release Date: July 8, 2026

  • Organization Name: Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd.

On the Taiwanese NCC side, the certification provides us with additional tracking data. The regulatory paperwork there was finalized with an official inspection date of June 26, 2026:

  • Approval Certificate Number: CCAK26LP1150T5

  • Equipment Name: Smart bracelet

  • Applicant Manufacturer: Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd. (Taiwan)

  • Inspection Date: 2026-06-26

The NCC document explicitly clarifies that there are no camera or photo-related audio functions, which makes perfect sense for a classic fitness tracker. While neither listing completely blows the lid off screen size or battery capacity just yet, they confirm the global hardware is fully finalized and approved.

What’s Next?

With both the standard Smart Band 11 and now the Smart Band 11 NFC showing up across multiple international databases with fresh late-June and early-July dates, Xiaomi is clearly finalizing its launch paperwork. Usually, when a device hits both the TDRA and NCC in the same window, an official announcement is just a few weeks away.

I will keep checking the databases every morning. Stay tuned, and I will update you here as soon as more technical specs or live photos leak out!
