The line between fitness trackers and smartwatches is blurring further with the latest leak of the Huawei Band 11 Pro. Following initial sightings within the Huawei Health app, new high-quality press renders and technical specifications have surfaced, suggesting that Huawei’s next wearable is moving even closer to a full smartwatch experience.
Enhanced Visual Experience: Larger and Brighter AMOLED Panel

One of the most significant upgrades for the Band 11 Pro is the revamped display. The screen has grown from the previous 1.47 inches to a more spacious 1.62-inch AMOLED panel. This isn’t just a size increase; the resolution has been bumped up to 482 x 286 pixels, resulting in a much sharper pixel density of 347 ppi (up from 282 ppi on the Band 10).
Most impressively, the display is rumored to reach a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. This level of luminosity is usually reserved for high-end smartwatches, ensuring the screen remains perfectly legible even under direct midday sunlight.
Premium Build and Extended Battery Life
Huawei appears to be sticking with a premium feel, utilizing an aluminum or aluminum-titanium alloy housing depending on the specific variant. Despite these materials, the device remains incredibly lightweight at approximately 14 grams.
To support the larger, brighter screen, Huawei has significantly increased the battery capacity. The “Pro” model is expected to house a 300 mAh battery, nearly doubling the 180 mAh found in the previous generation. This translates to:
-
10 days of battery life under regular usage.
-
Up to 14 days when using power-saving modes.
Note: Reports suggest a standard “Non-Pro” version may also be released, maintaining the smaller 180 mAh battery while sharing most other features.
Advanced Fitness Tracking and Smart Features

The Band 11 Pro is packed with a full suite of sensors, including GPS, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a magnetometer, and an optical heart rate sensor. These allow for comprehensive health monitoring, such as:
-
Continuous heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking.
-
Stress level monitoring with integrated breathing exercises.
-
Standard activity and sleep tracking.
On the software side, users can receive SMS and app notifications directly on their wrist. When paired with compatible smartphones, the device will also support direct replies to messages, further enhancing its utility as a standalone “lite” smartwatch.
Price, Colors, and Availability
Leaked renders show the device in three primary colors: Black, Light Blue, and Green. The Band 11 Pro also maintains its durability ratings, featuring IP67 water resistance and a 5 ATM rating, making it suitable for swimming and diving up to 50 meters.
Tech enthusiasts won’t have to wait long to get their hands on it. The Huawei Band 11 Pro is expected to hit the European market in early March. Current pricing estimates place the device in the €50 to €70 range, positioning it as a highly competitive option for those seeking premium features without the “Ultra” smartwatch price tag.
