Zepp App v10.0 Arrives on Android: New Motivation Tools for Amazfit Users

0

Amazfit smartwatch owners using Android devices can now access the latest software enhancements, as Zepp Health has officially rolled out version 10.0 to the Google Play Store. This major milestone follows a brief period of iOS exclusivity, bringing a suite of aesthetic and functional improvements to a wider audience of fitness enthusiasts.

Introducing Gamified Fitness with the Badges Tab

The most significant addition in this update is the dedicated Badges section. Located conveniently in the app’s bottom navigation bar between the “Workout” and “Aura” tabs, this feature is designed to turn fitness tracking into a more rewarding experience.

Users can now track their progress through four distinct achievement categories:

  • Personal Bests: Recognizing your highest milestones in specific activities.

  • Achievements: Awards for consistent effort and reaching milestones.

  • Challenges: Goals designed to push your physical limits.

  • Masteries: Long-term badges reflecting deep commitment to specific sports or health habits.

Optimized Performance and Refined User Interface

Beyond the new rewards system, Zepp v10.0 introduces several quality-of-life updates to the user experience. The Activities section on the homepage has been redesigned to provide a more intuitive overview of daily progress, making it easier to see how close you are to your goals at a glance.

Furthermore, the update includes:

  • BioCharge Enhancements: The BioCharge algorithm has been further optimized to provide more accurate health data, though specific technical details remain under the hood.

  • Visual Refresh: The “Device Page” has received a design overhaul, offering a cleaner look and more streamlined access to watch settings and customization.

Compatibility and How to Update

While the update is compatible with the entire current Amazfit lineup—including the premium Amazfit Balance 2—it is being distributed as version 10.0.7 on the Google Play Store.

If you haven’t received a notification yet, you can manually check for the update by visiting the Play Store to ensure your smartwatch is equipped with the latest tracking algorithms and the new motivational badge system.
