Amazfit is pushing out a brand-new software update for its rugged smartwatch lineup. If you own a T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro, or T-Rex Ultra 2, a fresh batch of features is heading your way with firmware version 4.10.5.1.
Like most tech rollouts, this update is launching in waves. A few lucky users have already downloaded it, while everyone else will see it pop up on their screens over the next few days.
Big News for Golfers

The headline feature of this update is a dedicated Golf mode. Amazfit has packed in maps for more than 40,000 golf courses from around the world. It is designed to give you a better layout of the green and boost your confidence during your rounds.
To get started, you will need to open the Zepp App on your phone, head to your device settings, and download the maps. Once they are sent to your watch, you can pull up the golf feature right from your workout list.
Heavy Focus on HYROX Fitness Racing
Amazfit is leaning hard into HYROX, the incredibly popular fitness racing series. This update adds two major tools for anyone training for these events:
-
HYROX Simulation Training: You can now practice specific parts of the race. The watch supports full simulations, half races, or custom setups so you can practice exactly what you need.
-
HYROX Race Strategy: You can build a personalized pacing plan inside the Zepp App and beam it straight to your wrist. This helps you track your energy and pacing so you don’t burn out too early on race day.
Health Tracking and Gym Tweaks
Aside from the headline sports, Amazfit also redesigned some of its core health tracking. The old “BioCharge” feature has been completely replaced by something called HybridCharge. This upgraded system pulls in a wider variety of your body’s data to give you a much more accurate picture of your daily energy levels.
The “Readiness” app got a helpful tweak too. Instead of guessing based on a vague “Full Recovery Time,” the watch will now explicitly tell you when you are ready for your “Next Hard Session.”
Finally, indoor rowers will notice a better distance calibration page for rowing machines, which now easily lets you swap between metric and imperial units. The update also clears out a handful of old bugs to make the whole system run a bit smoother.
