Amazfit is signaling the imminent launch of a new smartwatch model. The Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) database recently confirmed the existence of this upcoming device through a required regulatory filing. While this certification verifies that another wearable is en route, the specific details—whether it’s a refresh of a popular line or an entirely new offering—remain under wraps for now.
New Model Identified in Malaysian Database

Despite an already active year that saw the release of several new devices, including the Active 2 series, the Balance 2, the Bip 6, and the robust T-Rex 3 Pro, Amazfit continues to expand its catalog. The newly certified model is identified simply by the designation “A2557 (Smart Watch)” within the SIRIM documentation. This crucial certification was granted on November 25th.
Historically, Amazfit products that have appeared in the SIRIM database have often been released globally approximately three to six weeks later. Based on this pattern, we can speculate that consumers might see the debut of this new wearable either late in 2025 or early in 2026.
Speculating on the New Smartwatch’s Identity
The listing in the SIRIM database is strictly regulatory and does not provide any technical specifications or marketing details for the A2557. This lack of information has opened the door for speculation about where the device will fit into Amazfit’s existing portfolio.
It is possible that this new smartwatch could represent a much-needed update to one of the manufacturer’s specialized lines. The Cheetah series, known for its focus on running and athletic performance, or the high-end, premium Falcon series, haven’t received recent refreshes. Either of these series would be a logical candidate for the A2557. However, clarity will only come with an official press release or announcement from the Zepp Health team.
