Amazfit is currently sending out a brand-new software update for the Amazfit Active 3 Premium smartwatch. The new software goes by the version number 3.24.0.1.

Like most tech updates, this one is rolling out in waves. A few lucky users have already downloaded it, but if you don’t see it on your wrist just yet, don’t worry. It should arrive on your device over the next few days.

Here is a simple breakdown of what is new.

Smart Pacing for HYROX Races

If you are into HYROX fitness racing, this feature is for you. The watch now has a HYROX Virtual Pace tool.

All you have to do is type in your target finish time. The watch will then break down the race into smaller segments and tell you exactly how fast you need to go during each stage. This stops you from burning out too early and keeps you right on track.

Better Tracking with Stryd

For runners who want highly accurate data, the watch now plays nicely with Stryd power meters. Once you connect your watch to a Stryd device, you will see your live pace data directly inside your HYROX workouts. This makes it much easier to keep a steady rhythm.

Automatic Heart Rate Swaps for Swimmers

Swimmers who use the Helio Strap are getting a great quality-of-life upgrade. Now, the moment you start a swimming workout, the Helio Strap will automatically switch over to its special swimming heart rate model.

Once you get out of the pool and finish your workout, all that underwater heart rate data automatically syncs right back to your watch so your fitness history stays accurate.

No More Messy Data Across Devices

If you wear more than one fitness tracker, you know how annoying it is when your step counts don’t match. Amazfit is fixing this with a feature called Data Fusion.

The app will now take all your movement data for the day—like your total steps, calories burned, and distance—and blend them perfectly. Then, it sends that combined number back to all your connected devices so they all show the same information.

Fixes and Fine-Tuning

As usual, Amazfit has also tucked in some minor bug fixes and performance tweaks under the hood. These small changes should make the watch run a bit smoother and feel more responsive during daily use.
