Huawei is getting ready to reveal its next health-focused smartwatch, but full details have surfaced ahead of schedule. A comprehensive report from WinFuture has revealed press renders, technical specifications, and European pricing for the upcoming Huawei Watch D3. The official launch event is set for September 2 in Munich, Germany, where the company will introduce the new wearable to global markets.
Sleeker Design and Screen Improvements

The Watch D3 brings noticeable physical changes over previous generations. Huawei managed to shrink the watch body down to a thickness of 11.4 mm, making it substantially slimmer than the Watch D2’s 13.3 mm profile.
Despite the thinner profile, the screen gets a slight size bump:
-
Display Size: Increased to a 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED screen (up from 1.82 inches).
-
Resolution: Retains the 480×408 pixel sharp display.
-
Color Finishes: Gold and Dark Gray case options, paired with black, brown, or white straps.
-
Water Resistance: Rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, though heavy swimming remains off-limits.
Health Sensors and Technical Upgrades
At its core, the Watch D3 remains a specialized medical tracking tool featuring built-in micro-air-cuff technology for accurate blood pressure measurements. It continues to support 24-hour ambulatory tracking alongside automated reporting functions.
Beyond blood pressure tracking, the watch includes:
-
ECG Capabilities: For monitoring heart rhythms and detecting irregularities.
-
Full Health Suite: Sensors for continuous blood oxygen (SpO2), heart rate tracking, sleep analysis, step counts, and skin temperature checks.
-
Connectivity & Power: Upgraded to Bluetooth 6 connectivity with built-in GPS. Battery capacity rises slightly to 540 mAh (up from 524 mAh), promising up to 6 days of typical battery life.
European Pricing and Launch Details
The leak indicates a slight price bump for the new generation. The Huawei Watch D3 is expected to launch at €450 in European markets, representing a €50 increase over the launch price of its predecessor.
