Huawei Teases Watch D3 with Slimmer Design Ahead of September 2 Launch

Huawei has officially dropped its first teaser for the upcoming Huawei Watch D3, confirming that the next-generation blood pressure monitoring smartwatch is right around the corner.

In a short video published on its official YouTube channel, titled “HUAWEI WATCH D3 – Blood Pressure Management, Made Slimmer,” the company showcased a refined design for the upcoming medical-focused wearable.

A Much Slimmer Profile

The biggest takeaway from the teaser is the physical evolution of the watch. The original Huawei Watch D and last year’s Watch D2 were widely praised for bringing accurate, cuff-style blood pressure monitoring to the wrist, but their bulky frames made them less ideal for daily, casual wear.

With the Watch D3, Huawei is directly addressing that feedback. The teaser reveals a noticeably thinner casing, smoother metallic edges, a rotating crown, and a side sensor button. The display appears slightly curved with cleaner bezels, giving it the look of a premium mainstream smartwatch rather than a bulky health monitor.

The video highlights blood pressure readouts on the display—showing systolic, diastolic, and heart rate metrics—underlining that ambulatory blood pressure monitoring remains the centerpiece feature of the device.

Official Launch Set for Munich

Huawei confirmed at the end of the video that the Watch D3 will officially launch during an Innovative Product Launch event in Munich on September 2, 2026.

While exact pricing and detailed specifications remain under wraps, full details regarding sensor upgrades, battery life, and global availability will be unveiled next week.
