If you wear an Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch, good news is coming your way. The company is currently rolling out a fresh software update, version 6.4.14.1, packed with helpful improvements to make your daily use and workouts much smoother.
Better Screen Wake and Outdoor Tracking
Working out with your watch just got easier. Amazfit improved how the screen wakes up, so when you lift your wrist during a tough workout, the display turns on much faster without any delay.
Outdoor tracking is also a lot sharper. The watch now calculates directions better to catch any route deviations right away, and it adds support for new waypoint icons and types. Plus, if you love swimming laps, the pace and stroke rate charts for pool workouts have been fully optimized to give you cleaner data.
Upgraded Period Tracking for Better Health
Health tracking gets a major makeover with this update. The period tracking feature features a brand-new look with a much simpler user interface.
It also comes with a smarter prediction algorithm. On top of that, you get easy new check-in options so you can quickly log your daily symptoms, mood, and lifestyle habits all in one place.
Smarter Gym and Sports Modes
If you like to lift weights or play sports, you will notice some great upgrades. For strength training, there is a brand-new option that lets you easily turn automatic grouping on or off.
Pickleball players also get a nice treat, as the watch now includes shot counting in pickleball mode. Finally, logging how hard your workout felt—known as your RPE entry—is now much faster and easier right after you finish exercising.
This update is rolling out in phases right now. Some users have already started to receive it on their watches, while others may need to wait just a few more days for it to arrive.
