Amazfit Balance 3 Receives Its First Major Firmware Update 6.0.4.1: What's New?

Amazfit has officially started pushing out its very first major software update for the Balance 3 smartwatch. The new software, labeled as firmware version 6.0.4.1, brings a massive list of new features, performance tools, and a brand-new look to the wearable device.

Like most smartwatch updates, this rollout is happening in stages. A few lucky users have already downloaded it, while everyone else will likely see it pop up on their screens over the next few days.

Smarter Battery and Life Tracking

The update introduces an improved version of HybridCharge. Amazfit says it used more advanced formulas to help the watch automatically adjust its power settings based on how you train and live your day-to-day life.

Alongside better battery smarts, there is a new feature called LifeLoad. This lets you manually log everyday events like stressful moments, having a drink, traveling, or being sick. The watch then takes these notes and shows you exactly how these real-life events impact your body’s overall recovery and energy.

Official HYROX Workouts on Your Wrist

For fitness enthusiasts, the biggest addition is the official partnership with HYROX fitness racing. The watch now includes official HYROX training templates directly in the app. Users can choose between full simulations, half simulations, or specific training blocks to prepare for race day like a professional athlete.

To help during these intense workouts, a new “Virtual Pace” tool acts like a digital coach. You set a target time, and the watch gives you real-time pacing advice, tracks your goals, and warns you about upcoming stages so you do not burn out too early.

Better Runs and a Modern Look

Runner-specific tools are also getting a big boost. The watch can now calculate your Lactate Threshold—the point where your muscles start to fatigue quickly—and your Equivalent Pace. Plus, a new gear management tool in the Zepp App lets you track the mileage on your favorite running shoes.

Finally, the update completely changes how the watch feels to use. It upgrades the system to Zepp OS 6, which features redesigned menus, sports-themed visuals, and smoother animations when scrolling through your data. Morning updates have also been expanded into full “Daily Updates” that give you a summary of your health both when you wake up and before you go to sleep.

Change Log Summary:
