If you own an Amazfit outdoor watch, it is time to check for an update. Amazfit has started rolling out firmware version 6.2.104.6.
This new software is available for three popular models:
-
Amazfit T-Rex 3
-
Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro
-
Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2
While the official update note looks like a normal patch, there is a big surprise hidden inside. Amazfit did not officially announce it in the notes, but this update actually upgrades your smartwatch to the brand-new Zepp OS 6.

What Is New for Your Workouts?

This update brings several handy features for fitness lovers. You will notice new tools right inside your exercise menus:
-
Training Calendar & Library: A new Training Calendar app is now available, and a Training Library option has been added straight to your workout list to help you plan your sessions better.
-
New Data Fields: You can now see HybridCharge as a real-time data field during your workouts.
-
Gear Tracking: Your saved workout records now let you link specific sports gear or equipment to your session.
-
One-Touch Start: You can set a shortcut key to launch a specific workout instantly without searching through menus.
Better Layouts and Everyday Improvements
Beyond sports tracking, the overall watch system got a nice polish. The layout for viewing past workout records has been redesigned so it is easier to read. Amazfit also tweaked the notification settings to make managing alerts less frustrating, and the Battery Saver mode now works more smoothly.
For iPhone users, there is another great addition: your Heart Rate Variability (HRV) data can now sync directly to the Apple Health app.
Bug Fixes and Rollout Schedule
Along with the new features, the update fixes several small known bugs to keep the watch running fast and stable.
Keep in mind that software updates like this are released in stages. Some users have already received the notification to download it, while others might need to wait a few days before it reaches their watch. You can manually check for the update inside the Zepp app on your phone.
