The Amazfit Helio Strap is receiving a fresh software boost with the official rollout of firmware version 3.13.0.1. This latest deployment from Zepp Health focuses on refining the strap’s specialized tracking capabilities, ensuring that users get more professional-grade data from their workouts and rest periods alike. The update is designed to maximize the utility of the strap’s form factor, prioritizing precision in high-movement sports and overnight recovery.
Advanced Metrics for Pickleball Enthusiasts
The standout feature of this update is a significant expansion of the Pickleball Mode. Rather than just tracking duration and intensity, the new firmware introduces technical stroke analysis. Users can now access specific counts for Forehand and Backhand strokes directly within their post-game summary. This addition allows players to monitor their technical balance and swing consistency, offering a level of detail usually reserved for high-end tennis sensors.
Refining the Science of Sleep
The Helio Strap’s role as a recovery tool is further solidified with enhanced sleep tracking. Amazfit has overhauled the detection algorithms to improve accuracy, particularly in identifying the transitions between different sleep stages. By sharpening how the sensors interpret biometrics during the night, the 3.13.0.1 update ensures that your morning recovery data is more reflective of your actual physiological state, reducing errors in sleep duration and quality scores.
System Stability and Rollout Schedule
In addition to the headline features, this firmware includes various bug fixes aimed at polishing the overall user experience. These optimizations address known system issues, resulting in more reliable syncing and smoother performance across the board.
This firmware is currently being released in phased stages. If the 3.13.0.1 prompt hasn’t appeared in your Zepp app yet, it should arrive shortly as the rollout expands to more regions over the coming days.
