Amazfit is pushing out a fresh software update for its rugged smartwatch lineup. Version 6.3.25.7 is now landing on the T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro, and T-Rex Ultra 2.

The update brings several new fitness tools, better app controls, and map upgrades designed to give athletes a cleaner, distraction-free experience.

New Tools for HYROX Athletes and Daily Training

If you compete in HYROX races, this update gives you deeper insight into your performance. When paired with the Helio Strap Pro, your watch can now track movement counts, movement frequency, and heart rate patterns during a live race or a practice run. Once you finish, the watch breaks down your pace across each station and offers tailored training advice.

Amazfit also added a new setting called Athlete Defaults. Turning this on automatically mutes notifications and turns off mid-workout alerts. This reduces screen distractions, helps record more accurate workout data, and saves battery life. You can turn it on by opening the Zepp App, tapping Device, going to Device Settings, opening Workout Settings, and selecting Default Athlete Mode.

Easier Music Control and Indoor Cycling Upgrades

Managing your music is now much easier. You no longer have to rely solely on the small smartwatch screen to organize your songs—you can now build and edit playlists directly inside the phone app. Head to Zepp App > Device > Device Application Settings > Music to manage your tracks.

For indoor cyclists, the watch now links up with smart bike trainers and spin bikes that use the standard FTMS protocol. Once connected, your wrist screen displays live power, cadence, speed, and distance. You can also pick between metric or imperial units when calibrating your ride distance. Additionally, workouts saved in your Training Library now support real-time navigation.

Smoother Pairing and Upgraded Navigation

Amazfit also polished a few existing features:

  • Automatic Pairing: The watch now connects automatically to any Helio Strap Pro logged into the same account, skipping the manual setup.

  • Better Elevation Views: Route elevation charts are now clearer and easier to read at a glance.

  • Map Rotation: If you use “Advance Up” view on maps, the map will now smoothly rotate to match the direction you are facing, even while you zoom in or out.

Rollout Details

Amazfit is releasing update 6.3.25.7 in batches. A few watch owners have already picked up the new version, but if it hasn’t popped up on your device yet, expect it to arrive over the next few days. You can check for it manually through the Zepp app on your phone.
