Huawei has officially unveiled the Watch GT 6 series, introducing several significant improvements over its predecessors. The new lineup includes both a standard model and a Pro version, each offering notable upgrades in key areas like battery longevity and GPS accuracy. These new wearables aim to provide a more robust experience for users who are serious about fitness tracking and everyday health monitoring.
Battery Life and GPS: A Major Leap Forward

The Watch GT 6 series boasts a substantial increase in battery life. The 41mm standard GT 6 model now provides up to 14 days of use on a single charge, a significant jump from the 7-day rating of the previous GT 5. Similarly, the 46mm standard version and the Pro model extend that runtime to an impressive 21 days, up from the 14-day rating of the last generation.
Beyond just battery, Huawei has also enhanced the GPS tracking system. The GT 6 series features a new positioning system that is reportedly 20% more accurate than the previous generation. This is a crucial upgrade for runners, cyclists, and anyone who relies on precise location data for their workouts.
Advanced Health and Fitness Tracking

The new smartwatches come equipped with advanced tracking capabilities to help users monitor their health and training intensity. The Watch GT 6 Pro introduces a groundbreaking feature for cyclists: the first-ever virtual power meter in a smartwatch. Huawei claims this is the “most precise and scientifically sound” way to measure training intensity, providing cyclists with valuable data without needing external sensors. When paired with the Huawei Health app, users can track a variety of metrics, including cycling speed.
For the standard GT 6, the new TruSense system offers comprehensive health analytics, including a detailed cardiovascular report. This provides a deeper look into a user’s heart health, helping them better understand their overall fitness.
Design and Availability

The design of the Watch GT 6 series remains largely consistent with the previous generation, maintaining a familiar aesthetic. The Pro model features a slightly raised bezel, adding a subtle but distinct design element. Both the Pro and non-Pro models retain a sleek, classic look.
The new series is now available for purchase in the EU. As a launch promotion, customers who place an order before October 31, 2025, will receive a free pair of FreeBuds SE 3 or a €30 discount. Pricing starts at €249 for the standard Watch GT 6, with specific variants costing up to €299. The Watch GT 6 Pro begins at €379, with a premium titanium strap variant priced at €499.
